Jaimie and Tammy-Lynn were two dancers who lost their lives when the bus their dance company (APAC) was traveling in was involved in a serious accident near Golden, BC. The Memorial Foundation exists to further the advancement of the performing arts, specifically dance for children and youth.
The Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1991 under the Societies Act of Alberta. All funds raised from the Golf Tournament will be used to further realize their mission of creating an accessible and affordable indoor venue for the performing arts community, and provide support to young amateur performers through their Dance Scholarship Program.
To date, the Jaimie Hill & Tammy-Lynn Powers Memorial Foundation has raised over $1 million and helped many children and youth further their passion for dance and the performing arts, and preserved a dance legacy in memory of Jaimie Hill and Tammy-Lynn Powers. TIMES:
Registration 12:45pm for 9 hole players / Skill Challenge for all from 12:45pm – 1:45pm
Shot-gun 2:00pm for ALL PLAYERS / BBQ Dinner @ 5pm / Live Auction
(18 hole players will receive their tee times in advance and are asked to register 30 minutes earlier)
*Tee times for 18 holes will start at 10:00am every 8 mins. Everyone starts the shotgun regardless of which format you are playing, second 9 of shamble or the 9 hole scramble.
