Saskia Goedhart is the Chief Risk Officer of Munich Re. Her responsibilities include further development and implementation of enterprise risk management within Munich Re North America (Life), alignment of North American risk management governance processes with those emerging under the European Solvency II framework, and economic risk capital modeling.
Prior to joining Munich Re, Saskia spent nine years at ING in different functions and geographies. Before joining ING in November 1999, Saskia spent three years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a manager in the Financial Services, Financial Risk Management group and three years with Van Den Boom Groep as a senior consultant Treasury Risk Management.
Saskia holds degrees in Public Administration and in Accountancy from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She is a Professional Risk Manager and holds a Certificate in Quantitative Finance.
